State Level NTSE-1 Exam is Conducted By Director of Government Examinations., T.S., Hyderabad. for the state of Telangana and Selected Candidates are recommended for NTSE STAGE 2 Level Which happens under the supervision of NCERT Delhi.
After clearing both stages, Approximately 1000 students are selected for a monthly scholarship.
Eligibility for NTSE Exam
Students studying in class 10th in the current academic year from any recognized school in Telangana including Kendriya Vidyalaya(Central School) by KVS, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya by Navodaya Samitis and schools affiliated to C.B.S.E. & I.C.S.E. Boards.
NOTE:
The Students who have selected for NMMS Scholarship and Studying class X Now may also Eligible to apply for NTS EXAMINATION(NTSE ) but such candidates have to forego the further NMMS scholarships if he/she is Selected in NTS second level examination.
Students must have minimum 60% (for General & 55% for Rest categories) in class 9th.
In the State of Telangana, The exam will be conducted in Telugu, English, Urdu & Hindi Medium.
Examination Fee:
Rs. 100 (Rupees Hundred only).fee should be paid through challan at any treasury branch before online registration of applications as the particulars of examination fee should be noted in the application form at the time of registration.(DDs are not acceptable)

NTSE Stage 1 Exam Pattern:
From this year onwards English will not be the part of NTSE Exam and There will be NO Negative Marking for Any Wrong Question.

*Exam Duration will be 150 minutes for Specially Abled students.
MAT Will Have Reasoning Type Questions to test Logical Ability of Students. Mental Ability Test will have 100 questions for 100 Marks.
SAT will Have Questions Testing Subject Knowledge of Students In Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths and Social Sciences. Scholastic Aptitude Test for 100 Marks with 100 Questions comprising Sciences (40) and Mathematics (20) Social Sciences (40).Each Question Carries one mark. All questions are Multiple Choice Questions with four options.
There will be no Language Comprehensive Test.
NTSE Scholarship Detail:
All selected (1000) students will get a monthly scholarship as per decided by NCERT, Delhi. Here Selected Means Final Selection In the Merit List Prepared by NTSE After Two Stages of Examination.
- For Intermediate students (11th and 12th) – Rs. 1250 per Month.
- For Under Graduation & Post Graduation Students – Rs. 2000 per Month.
- For PhD students – As per UGC Norms

Applications forms should be registered online in the website http://bse.telangana.gov.in and printed copy of online application forms along with original challan,copies of caste certificates issued by MRO concerned and medical certificates issued by medical board of concerned district in case of SC/ST/OBC/PHC and two copies of print of report (i.e nominal roll ) should be submitted in district educational officer DEOs office of the district concerned only. All eligible candidates can apply through Online mode only.
in case of SC/ST/OBC/PHC candidates, caste and medical certificates should be uploaded along with the application at the time of registration online.
in case of OBC candidates should furnish caste and non-creamy layer certificates for OBC reservation otherwise they will be treated as general candidates.

NTSE Telangana Admit Card
Admit Card for Telangana NTSE 2019 will be available after allotment of seat numbers a week prior to the conduct of exam on November 4, 2018.
NTSE Telangana Answer Key
The answer key for the exam will be available in last week of November 2018.
